The annual Westside Home Tour will feature a spectacular showcase of historic homes along its charming tree-lined streets on Sunday, Oct. 4 from 1-5 p.m.
Get an inside peek at a variety of historical homes located in Lansing's Westside Neighborhood. The home tour will feature eight private homes representing a variety of architectural styles. The home tour raises funds for Advent House, a resource for those who struggle with poverty and homelessness in the Lansing area.
Advance tickets are on sale for $15 at a number of local businesses.
A free shuttle van, sponsored by Dean Transportation, will be available to transport participants from home to home. Public parking for this service is available at Letts Community Center, 1220 W. Kalamazoo. Participants can also walk or drive from home to home.
For more than thirteen years, the home tour has honored the unique historical architecture that defines the Westside neighborhood. It honors not just the homes of the Westside, but the people who have made up this strong and vibrant neighborhood, and those who will now carry "Westside Traditions" forward for generations to come.
